Shimla (virender khagta)Hon’ble High Court Himachal Pradesh has given the direction to the Department to conduct the trials for the selection of Himachal Men and Women Volleyball teams for the participation in the ensuing Senior National Volleyball championship which is being held at Muradabad (U.P) from 21st December to 29th December, 2013. The trials will be conducted for both sections on 17th December, 2013 at 10.00 A.M at Indira Gandhi State Sports Complex, The Mall Shimla-1.
All players are directed to attend the trials for Senior National Championship on 17th December, 2013 at 10.00 A.M. at Indira Gandhi State Sports Complex, Shimla-1. After the selection trials, the coaching camp for the Sr. National Championship will commence at the same venue immediately. The teams will proceed on 20th December, 2013 for the Senior National Championship. Sh. Partap Singh Volleyball Coach from ITBP and Smt. Ravindra Banshtu Volleyball Coach, Shimla has been deputed coaches for men and women sections respectively.
Sh. Vidya Sagar Sharma, Former International Coach and Smt. Subhdra Chauhan, Rtd. ADPEO will be the managers of the team.
The Department will also conduct the trials for the participation of Himachal team in the Junior and Youth National championships the dates and venue for the selection trials will be intimated separately.
